Subbu is a first-time entrepreneur and co-founder of SugarSnap. He’s passionate about helping the burgeoning tech community in Chicago hack healthcare. He spends most of his time fighting to get his startup to profitability so it can survive to change the world of medical education.
Chirag Patel has unified Chicago with our own Health 2.0 group and chairs the Healthcare roundtable for the Illinois Technology Association (ITA). He is also co-founder of Halo Monitoring, which provides an advanced fall detection and vitals monitoring system for seniors with caregiver connectivity via email, text, and web.
Desiree Vargas Wrigley is co-founder and CEO of GiveForward, which is a crowdfunding site for out-of-pocket medical costs. Prior to launching GiveForward, she worked as a specialist in collegiate entrepreneurship at the Kauffman Foundation in Kansas City and as an independent consultant for Arabella Philanthropic Investment Advisors. She was recently named one of 2011′s Women to Watch by Crain's.
