Leveraging over 20 years of experience as an index market maker on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and as one of the original traders in the S&P 100 Index pit, he sought to educate retail investors in options trading and to build a brokerage-based software platform that specialized in options. His efforts ultimately changed the way these instruments traded by pioneering single-click trading functionality for complex spreads and integrating investor education for advanced option strategies.
